Inspired by a dog’s love for play and social learning our innovative Pack Therapy Center helps build happier, healthier, dogs living in a human world!

Como Pet Lodge & Animal Works' versatile outdoor facility is key in supporting our Pack Therapy approach to canine development & boarding.

Como was founded in 2021, right as mandates from COVID were lifted. The isolation of the pandemic highlighted a gap in the canine care community - namely, a support structure to help keep dogs in their loving homes & out of overcrowded shelters.

Extended isolation is difficult on social creatures - humans and canines alike - and suddenly communities were experiencing a plethora of dogs that had not received proper socialization.

Our Pack Therapy approach works to fill this niche by supporting individual dogs' physiological growth and/or rehabilitation. Pack Therapy helps dogs overcome negative and often ingrained behaviors by providing dogs the building blocks to unlock their canine instincts in a regulated & controlled environment.

Through purposeful, targeted, innovative mixing strategies we are able to create multiple stable Pack Pods.

Only dogs can correct, heal and develop other dogs. Once established into a stable pack pod, dogs are able to revert to their natural state of calm and let the healing begin.
