Boarding Update

 

We are currently only offering boarding as first come, first serve and on an APPROVAL basis.


 

Put in your REQUEST NOW for 2025 boarding services & beyond, if you know your plans!

Reservations are limited and on a first come first serve basis.

PLEASE ensure your GINGR information is complete & updated at the time of reservation request to aid in an expedited approval.

​

Como Pet Lodge & Animal Works will NOT be able to accommodate the following services:

​

• Excessively Noisy Dogs (please contact us if you feel your dog falls into this category)

• Shelter Bypass Program (nonprofit program)

• Reduced Doggy Daycare (call for details)

​

We are temporarily capping the number of reservations to aid in noise reduction.

Como Commits to Transparency

​

Our friendly attempts to resolve a neighbor's noise complaints have proven unsuccessful. As a result, at this time we are unable to continue with our large-scale Pack Therapy business model.

​

At the beginning of 2025, Como made the strategic decision to no longer accept daycare dogs to help reduce noise by minimizing daily traffic. Unfortunately, we are still receiving almost daily noise complaints.

​

So we are using legal means to protect our existing kennel permit and operations (which has existed since 1982), to ensure Como remains open and to protect the high quality services we have always provided to our valuable customers and their dogs.

​

We are temporarily scaling back our operations as we continue to work toward a positive legal resolution.

​

The changes we have implemented in 2025 are NOT a reflection of the services or pricing we are committed to providing to our community.

Our priority is the safety and wellness of your dogs while in our care.

Over the years, Como evolved from a turn-key boarding facility into a Pack Therapy Center focused on building happier & healthier dogs living in a human world!

​​

As that philosophy deepened, our nonprofit, Como Animal Works, was developed to keep dogs in loving homes & out of overcrowded shelters

​​

Our business model is built upon the success of Pack Therapy - dogs healing other dogs.

​​

How Can You Help?

• You can help by adopting one of the dozen dogs that were part of the Shelter Bypass Program and unable to be retuned with their owners.
